TEST INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT TEST WITH MORNING URINE

Our pregnancy tests are extremely sensitive and react to hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) levels in the urine that are only slightly above the natural values that most women exhibit. Since the first morning urine is accumulated overnight, it may contain a higher concentration of hCG, which can lead to a false positive result. Even women with higher than average hCG levels in their urine can see very faint lines on the test. However, it is important to note that this type of test should be used over several days, observing an increase in the intensity of the test line, to successfully determine a pregnancy.

To begin testing, open the sealed pouch by tearing along the score line.
Remove the cap to reveal the absorbent tip. Urinate directly onto the absorbent tip until completely wet (at least 5 seconds).

Or dip the absorbent tip into a cup of freshly collected urine.
Place the test window side up on a flat, dry, clean surface.

Wait for pink line/s to appear. The test should be read in about 5 minutes. Do not interpret the test after 5 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF THE TEST RESULT

  • For a test result to be valid (both positive and negative), the control line (C) must always turn pink.

  • The tests should be interpreted by the 5th minute, disregarding later results (during the drying of the tests, negative tests can start to look slightly positive).

  • If the result is positive, you will see a second line, this does not have to be the same color (intensity) as the control line! But the important thing is that it is pink. Tests that turn pink or develop an evaporation line after the 5th minute are not considered positive!

  • When there is great hope or great emotional pressure, tests can be 'overinterpreted'. We recommend keeping a cool head when testing. A positive result can be clearly seen and does not have to be enforced with a magnifying glass or by other means (e.g. by image processing). If in doubt, simply test again the following day!

  • You have a negative result if only the control line (C) turns pink and no other pink line can be seen.

  • Invalid results are also part of the test, these can have many possible causes (e.g. high liquid consumption, medication, etc.), please simply start a new test at a later time.

  • These tests are early tests, they are not suitable for determining an advanced pregnancy. It is possible because of the increased hCG level that the tests show a false negative result (high-dose hook effect).

  • Tests can occasionally show a 'shadow'. This occurs where the second line would be, but this line does not bloom pink, but rather greyish. This is not a positive test! Positive tests are clear pink and leave no doubt.

  • Test regularly, if the pregnancy is successful, the test line will very quickly become much darker!
