How to test

Before you start
You need: the test, a clean, dry cup and a timer.
Check the expiry date and the foil pouch. Do not use an expired test or a test from a damaged or already opened pouch. The test and urine must be at room temperature (15–30 °C).
You can test at any time of day. Open the pouch when you are ready to begin. Use the test as soon as possible, within 1 hour of opening.
When should you start ovulation testing?
Day 1 is the first day of your period. Your cycle length runs from that day to the day before your next period.
Example: for a 28-day cycle, start on cycle day 11. Take one test each day for 5 days, or until you detect an LH surge.

For cycles shorter than 21 or longer than 38 days, speak to a doctor before testing. If you do not know your cycle length, the leaflet gives day 11 as a starting point; the actual timing of ovulation may differ.
How to test

Get ready
Collect urine in a clean, dry cup. Open the pouch and take out the strip.

Apply urine
Hold the strip upright in the urine, with the arrows pointing down. Dip for at least 10 seconds. Keep the urine level at or below the MAX line.

Lay flat
Remove the strip. Lay it flat on a clean, dry surface that does not absorb liquid. Start your timer.

Read your result
Read your result after 3–10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
Read your result
C = control line · T = test line
Check C first: without a control line, the test is invalid.
Negative
Only C is visible, or T is lighter than C. No LH surge has been detected.
Test again the next day according to your testing schedule.
Invalid
C is missing, whether or not T is visible. You cannot use this result.
Repeat with a new test. If C is missing again, stop using the tests and contact Pinkline with the lot number (LOT).

More important information
What the test cannot tell you
Do not use this test as contraception. It does not measure an exact LH level or confirm ovulation. Use human urine only. Incorrect use can give false results.
Storage and disposal
Store at 4–30 °C, away from sunlight, moisture and heat. Follow the expiry date on the packaging. Use once only. Dispose of used tests with household waste in line with local rules.
