Pregnancy tests strips 10 mIU/ml early tests

Test Instructions

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. USING EARLY-DETECTION PREGNANCY TESTS IS NOT THE SAME AS USING STANDARD PREGNANCY TESTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO INTERPRETING THE RESULTS.

DO NOT TEST WITH FIRST-MORNING URINE!

Our pregnancy tests are extremely sensitive and can detect very low levels of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in urine, even when they are only slightly above naturally occurring levels.

Because first-morning urine accumulates overnight, it may contain a higher concentration of hCG. This can make very small amounts of hCG visible and lead to the appearance of a very faint test line.

Women with naturally higher or slightly fluctuating baseline hCG levels may also see very faint lines on the test. Therefore, a single test result should never be interpreted in isolation.

To assess a possible pregnancy reliably, the test should be repeated over several consecutive days. What matters most is whether the intensity of the test line increases from day to day. A line that gradually becomes darker generally indicates rising hCG levels and may be a sign of an ongoing pregnancy.

Performing the Test

Open the sealed pouch by tearing it along the notch.

Collect a urine sample in a clean container.

Place the absorbent tip of the test strip into the urine sample. Allow the strip to absorb liquid for at least 10–15 seconds.

Dip the test strip only up to the MAX line. Do not exceed the MAX line.

Then place the strip on a flat, dry, clean surface with the result window facing upward. Start a timer for 5 minutes.

Il test deve essere letto e fotografato esclusivamente al 5° minuto.

Do not interpret the result after the 6th minute, as the appearance of the test may change afterward.

For each test, take a clear, sharp, well-lit photograph of the test area so that the progression of results can be documented and compared reliably.

You are using highly sensitive early-detection tests. The intensity of the test line may provide an indication of the hCG level, but it should not be considered an exact measurement. Even very faint lines may indicate the presence of small amounts of hCG near the detection limit of the test.

For this reason, the intensity of a single test line should not be overemphasized. What matters is the trend observed over several days. In an ongoing pregnancy, the test line generally becomes darker from one test to the next.

For a result to be valid, whether positive or negative, the control line (located opposite the absorbent tip) must always turn pink.

Tests should be interpreted only at the 5-minute mark. Results observed later should not be considered, as lines may appear during the drying process and create a falsely positive impression. Negative tests in particular may develop faint evaporation lines or shadows as they dry.

Positive Result

A positive result is present when a second pink line appears next to the control line (toward the absorbent tip of the strip). This second line does not need to be as dark as the control line. The important factor is that it is clearly pink in color.

Lines that appear only after the 5-minute mark or develop during the drying process should not be considered positive.

Negative Result

A negative result is present when only the control line appears pink and no second pink line is visible.

Invalid Result

If the control line does not appear, or if the result cannot be interpreted clearly for any other reason, the test is considered invalid. Possible causes include user error, excessive fluid intake before testing, or other external factors. In this case, repeat the test later using a new test strip.

Interpretation of Results

Pinkline tests are extremely sensitive and can detect pregnancy very early, often much earlier than less sensitive tests.

Because of this exceptional sensitivity, Pinkline tests can also detect very low concentrations of hCG in urine. In rare cases, this may lead to a positive result even though an ongoing pregnancy has not yet been confirmed.

  • Case 1: Temporary increases in hCG levels on certain days.
  • Case 2: Naturally higher or fluctuating baseline hCG levels in some women over several days or even longer periods.

In these situations, Pinkline tests are not producing incorrect results. They are correctly detecting the presence of hCG. A positive result alone therefore does not confirm an ongoing pregnancy; it only confirms the presence of hCG in the urine. This is a direct consequence of the test’s exceptionally low detection threshold.

When using Pinkline tests, it is important to be aware of this high sensitivity and to evaluate results calmly and objectively. The advantage is that they can detect a potential pregnancy earlier than conventional tests.

At the same time, these tests operate within a detection range that is only slightly above naturally occurring hCG levels. As a result, occasional influences and fluctuations may occur that would go unnoticed with less sensitive tests.

For this reason, a single test result should never be interpreted in isolation. The trend over several days is what matters.

  • Case 3: The test line becomes noticeably darker in successive tests. This indicates rising hCG levels and may be a sign of an ongoing pregnancy.

An ongoing pregnancy therefore cannot be assessed based on a single test result, but rather on a clear trend observed over several days.

Important Information

When there is strong hope or significant emotional pressure, test results may sometimes be overinterpreted. We recommend evaluating results calmly and objectively. A positive result is clearly visible and does not require magnification, image editing, or other tools to be “made visible.” If in doubt, simply repeat the test the following day.

Some tests may show what is known as a shadow. This appears in the location where a second line would appear, but it does not turn pink and instead looks gray or colorless. Such a shadow is not a positive result. Positive results always show a clearly pink test line.

Results may be influenced by certain medications, hormones, or other factors.

Please also note that these are early-detection tests. They are not intended for evaluating advanced pregnancies. In rare cases, when hCG levels are very high, the so-called High-Dose Hook Effect may occur, potentially causing a false negative result.

Test regularly and compare results over several days. In an ongoing pregnancy, hCG levels generally rise rapidly, causing the test line to become noticeably darker within a few days.
